Hi, I work for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. We have a master account for the organization that includes all articles published by our scientists. We want to use the shortcode to display the articles for each research on their page.
We are using version 7.0.3
Wordpress 4.9
We have a researcher whose last name has space in it: Frank La Sorte
I can’t seem to get his articles to show up correctly, most of the time, I just get the spinning wheel.
I’ve tried:
author=’Sorte’ (produces 5 results, but there should be around 16 or so)
author='(Sorte, Frank)’ (spinning wheel)
author='(La Sorte, F)’ (spinning wheel)
author=’La Sorte’ (spinning wheel)
Also, we have researchers who share the same last name, and I try something like these below, I get spinning wheel:
author='(Rodewald, Amanda)’
author='(Rodewald, A)’
Only this works fine, produces articles for Amanda and Paul Rodewald)
author=’Rodewald’
Seems like parentheses method of author search is broken?
