A few months ago SG Optimizer had a built in setting that let you downgrade php versions (manual setting), which we needed to do 7.1.3

However newer versions of the plugin removed this feature, it has to be handled in the panel on siteground’s website, great!

However we have upgraded on siteground to 7.3, however its stuck on 7.1.3 on wordpress.

“Webserver” on siteground’s website shows 7.3.2 in “php site admin”.

I think its keeping old settings and overriding siteground’s new method. Please fix!

sg optimizer displays the warning:
“YOU ARE CURRENTLY RUNNING ON PHP 7.1 MANUAL.
If you want to change your PHP setup and version, please login to Site Tools and use the DEVS -> PHP Manager tool. It will allow you to select PHP version and whether you want to change it manually or leave it to us to manage it for you”

we check this and its 7.3.2. However our php plugin and health check both show 7.1 .
