Not receiving emails from GMAIL accounts

I tried two different gmail accounts and could not receive the verification email and link to activate, even after RESENDING…checked all junk mail, not there either

I switched to a YAHOO! email and registered and received a verification email. For the other gmail users, I had to manually approve them.
