User shortcode not showing default to guests

Hi,

First thanks for all the hard work and effort for this plugin. It rocks and I use many of its shortcodes on my sites.

I’m having difficulty at the moment with the User shortcode.

I want it to enter the user’s name onto the page or if it’s a guest, I want it to show the name “Chris” (It’s for a second person fictional story.) I have followed the pop-up form to create this, however, instead of Chris for guests, it shows, User: user ID is incorrect. When completing the form, I left the user ID blank, so this parameter should be empty.

The shortcode that’s being used on the page is [su_user default=”Chris”][su_user field=”user_nicename” default=”Chris”][/su_user]
